I guess that eventually - and rather quickly - we'll be deciding where to meet and what activities to plan. I like the idea of an outdoor party but have experienced the vagaries of Chicago's summer weather before, so incorporating an indoor site into the plans is probably wise!
I don't know if this sounds too tacky, or not central enough, but what about renting out a hall like an AmVet or the Legion? Or a meeting room in a hotel so we have a base camp and a place of our own to party?
I think we'll get this organized pretty quickly with all these great ideas...
