Intranasal ketamine preparations produced by a local hypothecary or compounding pharmacy is dirt-cheap. You might pay as little as $75 for three months. Ask your doctor to let you try intranasal ketamine. The dosages are probably best obtained by surveying the medical literature.
Some people retain their emissions by finding the optimal schedule for dosing. After obtaining a satisfactory improvement, one often maintains it using ketamine dosing every 3 to 5 days.CAVEAT: More is not better. If the dosage of ketamine is too high, no improvement appears, regardless of the time allowed to pass. A good rule of thumb for I.V. ketamine is that an amount sufficient to produce mild dissociation works best. (I am not aware of the most current guidelines).
First, try to find a compounding pharmacy capable of preparing nasal ketamine. Ask the pharmacist for a list of doctors who prescribe intranasal ketamine.
Investigate the most current information on nasal ketamine so that you fine-tune your dosing amount and scheduling.
Good luck.
