I finished doing Porges's Safe and Sound Protocol yesterday. I did it Monday through Friday, one hour per day. Some people prefer doing it for 30 minutes per day over a two-week period, and I can see why. I found listening to filtered music to be surprisingly tiring. I felt drowsy during each session, and started to nod off from time to time, but never fell asleep. If you fall asleep for more than a few minutes during a session, you're supposed to start over.
Improvements so far:
Better sleep
Better mood
More relaxed
Better digestionMany people who've done SSP report that they continued to improve for 6-8 weeks after treatment. Some people opt to do booster sessions two or three months after the initial treatment.
I hope my improvements will continue to build, or to at least hold steady. I'll report on this again later.
