Right now I am just microdosing because I am not completely off of antidepressants. Got some heart issues (at least that is what I think). It may be caused by excess iron. Or 5-htp. That is why microdosing. I will find out in a few days if it is Iron.
All I can say is it seems that I can now give antidepressants a miss without my mood deteriorating. Before I could not. I am on a pretty comprehensive orthomolecular regimen though. 5-HTP does not relly work in isolation. It relies on other nutrients to transform into Serotonin.
When I know more and I got off the rest of Venlafaxine, I may try higher doses. I get a bad impression when I feel my pulse under duress. Hope it will subside.
Seroquel 700mg
Zyprexa 22.5mg
Venlafaxine 18mg
Metformin 2000mg
Lithium 225mg
Orthomolecular
