That's great news. I'm happy that you are finally being rewarded for your persistence.

The past 18 months have been hellish for me. Extremely. I got sick and tired of taking Parnate with only a marginal improvement. It was a rather barren existence, even though I had more mental energy to work with. I have been around in a circle going from Parnate to Trintellix to Effexor - twice. I even tried Nardil again. Trintellix produced some encouraging improvements, but there was no one dosage that provided a stable remission. Perhaps I should have persisted with it. Right now, I am taking Effexor at 300 mg/day. I was up to 450 mg/day for awhile, but I felt weird and became dysphoric. It's been a roller coaster ride - both biologically and emotionally. I'm not too bad today. We'll see about tomorrow. I get hints of improvement here and there, so I haven't given up on it. One aspect of my depression (bipolar) is anhedonia. Parnate doesn't help at all with that. Nardil does, though. For me, I get the impression that Effexor has more potential to improve anhedonia than Parnate.

How long did it take for you to respond to Trintellix?

You should be able to get to the settings from here:

You can always go to the FAQ page and search for the link for "settings".

I hope you remain well.
