If ER is crushed, will it be IR?

Hey guys,
we have a shortage of Venlafaxine. I have extended release tablets at home. I prefer the immediate release because i get anorgasmic effects and when i take IR, they lessen after 12 hours. Will crushing and swallowing extended release tablets turn them into more or less immediate release tablets?
Or is my logic flawed?
Seroquel 900mg :(
Zyprexa 25mg :(
Trazodone 100mg
Venlafaxine 37.5mg

Lithium 250mg
