Hey. I have XR which contains 'spheroids'. I often chew the spheroids (again like you, I notice fewer side effects with IR).
However, a 37.5mg cap contains hundreds of spheroids. It would be a bit challenging to ensure each one gets chewed. You'd most likely end up with a combination of ER and IR.
Another possibility is dissolve a XR capsule in a bottle of water 1-2 days before. Then, drink the water. It will be bitter, but this will be IR.
