Geodon add on?

Posted by Sheilac on August 8, 2015, at 9:14:14

I was experiencing some irritability mania from taking Tramadol. My pdoc pushed my Geodon from 120mg to 160mg. She also wanted me to go as high as I could on Depakote.

I've since stopped using Tramadol and won't use it in the future. I failed the Depakote, it kept making me more irritable and manicky feeling.

I do take Adderall XR and since upping the Geodon I find it making me a little irritable. I'm wondering if the higher dose of Geodon is negatively effecting me?

I also find myself taking more Klonopin to help with sleep.

I'm wondering if this was a mistake to go higher on Geodon.

I'm also wondering if I can't add a small dose of Trileptal to Geodon for neuropathy (I've failed all the neuropathy meds). I've noticed a low dose of Trileptal squashes irritability and helps me take less Klonopin.

I was so stable for so long on Geodon 120mg. I hate feeling irritable now.

Depakote was not the answer.
