Ok I will keep you update for sure. I will start probably next Tuesday... I have some appointments next week, gastro doc monday and another one for my cat...so have to get out of the house, who is almost impossible for me anymore so not a great idea to start a new med if I have to get out....but will write how I'm doing on the Luvox for sure...
I was on 8 mg day of clonazepam who is around equivalent to 16 mg of Ativan...some benzo charts equivalency rate the clonazepam 4 times stronger than the Ativan and 2 times stronger than the Xanax but with my experience since i withdrawal and do slow tapering with the valium substitution, i can say that xanax and clonaepam are equivalent and the ativan is weaker and a dose of 1 mg of ativan = 2 mg of clonaepam... My PDoc switch me to 14 mg of Ativan and after 1 week my anxiety was worse and had interdose anxiety so I call my PDoc and he switch me again on the clonazepam 8 mg day... My tolerance to the benzo meds wasn't as high as now at the time... Now I have to take a dose of clonazepam every 2 hours at daytime, take smaller dose but more often, if not I have even worse anxiety... The only time I don't take it every 2 hours is at night but often I wake up in a middle of a panic attack so I take a 0.5 mg dose and wait until the panic stop and can return to sleep but I never take more than 7 mg a day now. Some day I take around 6 mg... But usually it's 0.75 mg every 2 hours or 3 hours maximum... I know it sound stupid cause it have a long half life but the long half life don't seem to change something for me and have interdose anxiety...
