Thanks, Cee.

I plan on writing a letter to Pfizer, but I should let you know that many of those who experienced problems with Nardil after the formulation was changed in 2003 already wrote letters to both Pfizer and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration with the ultimate goal of getting Pfizer to restore the "old" Nardil, and obviously nobody succeeded. I was actually part of a group that wrote two letters to the FDA on behalf of those affected by the formulation change. Both letters (particularly the second one, if I'm recalling things correctly) included numerous questions for the FDA, and it's my understanding from what I've read on the Anxiety Community's Nardil forum (when it was still in existence) that at least most of the questions in the letters went unanswered.

The number of people who want to take action to essentially reverse the 2003 Nardil formulation change has dwindled considerably since 2003, 2004, and even 2005 and 2006. So, those of us who would be still be taking action to try to restore the "old" Nardil would make up a small group indeed, which would of course make achieving our goal more difficult. I do think that it's a good idea to continue to make Pfizer and regulatory agencies such as the FDA and Health Canada aware of the fact that there are likely still individuals who would benefit from having the "old" Nardil available. Certainly no change will come about if nobody tells Pfizer and the regulatory agencies that change is wanted. However, making change on this issue will be a great challenge to say the least, and it may require more than taking the same courses of action that have been taken in the past, namely writing to Pfizer, the FDA, and Health Canada.
