hi phillipa,
in short, most likely not. it seems you've built up a tolerance to them. sometimes it's contingent upon the dosing, but 40 plus years is a very long time to be on benzos. hopefully you're not taking high doses.
are you taking an sri? i find lexapro to be pretty good for depression w/ anxiety.
