There is so much negative press on meds that it is actually difficult to find anything positive. But your psychiatrist is the one treating you, not a website, not an abstract. Chances are your doctor is good.
If it's time to get off meds don't make the mistake of deciding when and how Dr You is going to do it.
Talk it over with your doctor, he may disagree, and make a plan to get off of meds. You may do fine or you may come to respect your doctor more.
