I'm a vegan and I've been taking Parnate for awhile now. Be careful with things like soy protein powder and energy bars. I didn't need nifedipine and it wasn't a crisis situation, but I had a definite spike in blood pressure from those. I miss miso soup and sauerkraut. I eat small amounts of tofu at home and don't make enough for leftovers, but I'm wary of its freshness in restaurants. I also eat soy yogurt even though it's full of sugar (I figure it's not like I'm eating barrels of it). I can't give any feedback on mock deli slices, but I've been fine with seitan here and there and it's easy to make at home.

What do I do for protein? I guess everybody asks this of vegans/vegetarians, but I honestly don't do anything special. I'm not much of a mock meats person to begin with, though. Almonds, garbanzo beans, Sunshine Burgers (soy-free and way more awesome than Amy's), Grape Nuts?
