In reply to bupropion anger, posted by andreachem on July 13, 2011, at 4:30:59
Hi and Welcome,
I've use bupropion alone and in combination with Nardil and other medications. It has some good points for sure, but has always increased my irritability, anxiety and anger. I've used all versions, and the extended release varieties are easier on me.Bupropion led to the only case of road rage in my life! A guy pulled out of a parking spot, almost hit me, forced me into the other lane, with the tires squealing. I looked back and all three guys in the car were flipping me off. On bupropion, this was just more than I could take, got out and took on all three of them. They got the worst of it, by far. I assure you, nothing like this ever would have happened without the bupropion. I am generally quite passive. Be careful on this med.
Good Luck,
Jedi
> hi everybody! i'm new on Dr. Bob and i'd want to ask this: Wellbutrin XL is very effective for my MDD, but it increased my irritabily, anxiety, and anger. How can I do to minimize these side effects? adding a mood stabilizer or an antipsychotic med? thanks for all the replies. Andreachem.
