> hi everybody! i'm new on Dr. Bob and i'd want to ask this: Wellbutrin XL is very effective for my MDD, but it increased my irritabily, anxiety, and anger. How can I do to minimize these side effects? adding a mood stabilizer or an antipsychotic med? thanks for all the replies. Andreachem.

as often as i say shit about pdocs, this is one thing a pdoc might be good about.

i think it depends on just how you have 'irritabily, anxiety, and anger' (and i think for some people with adhd, bupropion can reduce those symptoms). Also, what are your original MDD symptoms, and have you tried other drugs (and how did they effects you, + & -)

lowish lithium is my first instinct, unless you're the rare bird who hasn't tried an ssri
