I would be highly suspicious of either placebo effect or an effect that is not very durable. Perhaps there is a slight central stimulant effect that is like a cup of coffee. Coffee can give you a nice buzz, especially if you are relatively naive to caffeine, but the effect is not durable enough to cure depression.


I have a complex inferiority.
Rx: 40mg citalopram, 30mg d-amphetamine, 15mg mirtazapine, 300mg bupropion
Dx: ADHD (inattentive subtype), depression
