I think what that means is that the general circuitry giving you depressive symptoms is in the norepinephrine spectrum. I believe that's how those meds work? They're sort of like an epinephrine substitute I think. I would look into that. Do some searches to find out more about the ingredients in the med and what the mechanism is. I honestly don't know anything about that med but I was under the assumption that those types of meds work by epinephrine mechanisms.
If that were true, then you would know how to narrow down the herbs, supplements, or psych meds to target the suspected neurochemistry. If the norepinephrine thing is true then to me that would be choices could be narrowed down to various TCAs, stimulants, maois, and I think of a handful of herbs.
