The liver, kidneys, and lymph glands become overwhelmed and all that nasty crap just builds up. And thus the crappy feeling. Depression, fatigue, and brain fog are common with that. It's called a Herxheimer reaction. Those are also common symptoms of people before antibiotics....they don't realize it is an infection causing their symptoms that the psychiatrist is attempting to treat. It is also a very good diagnostic tool when testing a suspected hunch someone might have Lyme or something.
