I'm not sure if anyone else has had this experience but the Metformin made me much more depressed!! I started taking it for weight gain with Geodon (yes, I'm one of the lucky few who gained weight and a pot belly from Geodon) and I noticed I felt so much better when I didn't take the Metformin (I accidentally skipped it a few days while moving). After that, I did an experiment a few times where I took it for a couple days and would start to feel awful- much more depressed. I would feel better again a few days off the Metformin. Metformin would be the difference between spending the day in tears versus functioning. I decided it wasn't worth it.
