> Thanks guys great info. Reason asked reading that book on healing the mind and all other meds seem to have a substitute med to use except for benzos but neurotin was mentioned for substitution. What dose as pdoc still in the hospital. BB yup medicaire doesn't like brand name. Is it expensive?
I would imagine.
The exclusivity period used to be Greenstone, which is a subsidiary but I doubt it was manufactured in the same plant or exactly the same process. It just made them more money.
Now its Apotex, at least for me. I can't say there is a difference at all but I take 600mg 4x a day which is approaching a typical maximum psychiatric range, so I'm probably dealing with a different amount than you may be.
Starting off with a generic completely means though that you don't have to compare whether something is a generic or not. And I think this is an important point. You've started with whatever is your "real deal".Gabapentin dosing and its curve of effectiveness drops quickly as you go over 600-900mg/dose... the absorption rate, e.g. 70%, 40%, etc... so though absorption might play a role, the fact that a dose that is probably in excess of what it originally was intended for is going to be enough anyhow.
