Neurontin is one of the chief meds in my LLMDs arsenal. He finds benefit from it with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, pain, sleep, and fatigue. And sometimes even depression. Most of his patients are Lymies, so it may not be so helpful for the general population. I don't know. But since you are a Lymie, I would think Neurontin would be a choice with merit for you.
He did say however that the generic is disappointing in his experience with most of his patients. He insists on brand only, but will months later try to switch to generic to see if the patient can get away with. Sometimes they can, more often not. Just be aware that Neurontin is one of those drugs on my LLMDs list that has shown him a significant difference between generic and brand. I know that could be a problem for you with your type of insurance.
