I was curious on the length of time Concerta lasts in your body. I think its 12 hours. Can it even be longer that with it's advanced delivery method? Concerta is helping. I do not feel the "buzz" that adderall gives or the Euphoric response. But I feel focused, less tired, and not wanted to "give in" with a demanding task. The only reason I seem to "want" to take more is around the 7:00 pm time if I take it around 7:00 in the morning because mentally I am noting that it's wearing off and not sure if I should be more focused in the late evening. I don't crash. A weird thing with stimulants and even Adderall is that I can easily get to sleep even if I take the dose around bedtime (combined with Risperday-to ensure that I do sleep.) One time I took the Concerta at bedtime with the Risperdal and I woke the next morning awake, alert, and ready to go. As ironic and contradictory as it may seem. Is it possible that I bed time dose of Concerta could be benefit my night time sleep with Risperdal and then a daily dose of concerta in the morning, with out the desire to want to take more. It's easy to sway the doctor if he knows that it's helping my sleep disorder by taking it at night and ironically getting a better (how I don't know) night sleep combined with Risperdal? Very inteeeressting :) I am getting a full blood test done on me very soon to make sure my cocktail is doing well. Ironically, physical tests show liver, etc functioning better on all these meds than without meds. Strange hey?
