You need to speak with a vet about this -- first of all, most medications are dosed largely by weight, so you would need to adjust the dose. Even if you tried to adjust the dose based on what you take, the species difference would have an effect.

The biggest reason, though, is that some -- probably many -- medications humans can take will poison animals. NO ONE here can tell you FOR CERTAIN whether what you're asking is OK. ONLY a vet can do that, and preferably a vet who knows your dog.

If you think about doing it anyway, I hope you'll ask yourself whether you're willing to risk your dog on the advice given by people on an internet forum with no veterinary medical training.
