I am not taking Tianeptine I only tried it for a couple of days.
It is difficult to advise anyone on what will help them sleep. Read the Thread you were active in on psychobabble:
http://www.dr-bob.org/cgi-bin/pb/mget.pl?post=/babble/20080124/msgs/808726.htmlMuch depends on the other medications you are on, your own personal symptoms and why you are having trouble sleeping. There is no one solution that works for everyone.
I have tried every conceivable sleeping aid and R-x through the years including barbiturates. Nothing ever really worked for me.I would strongly suggest you take a look at the "alternative" board on this site and ask some questions there.
This might be redirected but I have recently found that the herb Valerian helps more than almost anything. It works extremely well when I take it in combination with a small amount of a benzo. Valerian has a tendency to potentiate some drugs.
I cannot take it constantly as my body adapts and it stops working.
Be careful There is no simple answer here.Good luck,
