Maxime,
I take a powered form of Magesium by Peter Gilliam to help with sleep. In spite of tapering Remeron, which I have used as a sleep med, it has worked great. Normally, tapering a sleep med is a recipe for withdrawal symptoms of rebound insomnia.
Just a caution if you decide to go this route. I had been taking 3/4 teaspoon which was working great for sleep.
But due to what felt like increased anxiety during the day as possible withdrawal symptoms, I decided to try a teaspoon for bed. Big mistake as I developed insomnia.
I think what I am saying is that there is a fine window where a certain amount works great. But if you go over that, it is a recipe for disaster.
Do a meds interaction checker on the medscape site to make sure you can take it with your meds. But if that checks out ok, I would certainly give it a shot.
Good luck as I know from personal experience that insomnia is very hard to deal with
