The first few days we have seen a certain lack of excitement that he normally has...He's been functioning okay I guess, just different . . . the little bubbly personality & sparkling eyes don't seem to be there so far. He has complained of "heavy eyelids" too. He's only 7 so it's kind of hard to get a good description from him about how it makes him feel. He definitely has lack of appetite & I have noticed every time he starts to run he complains of a headache but shortly thereafter says it doesn't hurt anymore. The dr of course says give it time to adjust. He does seem to be focusing more on drawing & writing which is a good thing. He seems very smart to us of course but he is borderline on keeping up with his classmates in school, especially reading level & teachers & dr seem to think it is a focus issue not learning disability so all we know to do is try this for a little while. It seems to be relatively new so I was hoping for info on long term effects from others. It's always scary I guess to put young ones on any medication so I do appreciate your feedback so much. I'll be away from home for a few days but will check back on posts this weekend. Thanks so much!
