Hi--
For my racing thoughts, nothing has worked better than a low dose of Haldol. It slows my thoughts down and helps with anxiety, and unlike other antipsychotics, it doesn't make me tired. Haldol is such a notorious drug that I was afraid to take it at first, but when I did, it worked really well. The only problem was that, after I'd taken it regularly for awhile, my pdoc noticed some facial twitching. That didn't happen when I took it only as needed, so if you try it, I wouldn't worry too much. If not, benzos also work well. Hope everything works out.
