I learned through this website that Nardil was the "gold standard" for social anxiety and depression. I read it all over the web and it seemed as if it was truly a miracle drug.
I tried several SSRIs along with a couple of more antidepressants that failed, until finally deciding to go on Nardil and hoping this would be it.
Unfortunately, it hasn't. I feel very little relief compared to my first antidepressant, which was a godsend for a year and which unfortunately, pooped out.
I had high hopes for Nardil. But it's not doing what it was supposed to. It's not dealing with my SA or depression fully. It's giving me around a 30% relief only.
So I would like to ask anyone who might know: after Nardil, is there anything else out there to keep my hopes up? For years, my hope was Nardil. I struggled for 5 years to find a doctor that would prescribe it and was thrilled when I finally found him. Now I have it, and it's not doing much. I have nothing to hold on to, as my depression makes my life miserable.
If someone out there knows of a different drug that could work in the way Nardil was supposed to work for depression and social anxiety, please comment here.
Thanks in advance
