i never took any meds for ADD till this year.
im now 27.my mom went ballistic with the schools whenever they suggested i see a psychiatric professional for ADD screenings and refused to take me....
she told me that ADD was a form of "retardation" and the meds are just "tranquilizers" to control kids with brain damage.....
if only i had been able to have the clarity in my mind that dexedrine gives me now, back when i was in school....
i also take wellbutrin and started that beofre the dexedrine but i never noticed much help from it as far as the ADD goes. it did help with depression however quite well, which is what i take it for.
