I love that song 'Mothers Little Helper'. Good old Rolling Stones. Ironically I went on Valium to lesson my anxiety with my mother's cancer.
On Valium during the funeral. I didnt even cry. I think it had something to do with the delayed reaction/coping with her death.
I did not get addicted though because it annoyed my that I didnt cry during the funeral. Shortly after the funeral though, I took some. I painted some pictures to deal with my emotions. Some of the best work Ive even done.
I'm glad that it was around now that I think about it. And now that I've coped with her death, I can take a bow to Valium, and move on.
