Well I suppose that's to be expected Fred.

You would almost certainly be prescribed an antidepressant that had some anxiolytic/antipanic properties to help you cope in the interim. In any case the aim of therapy is to give you a window of opportunity to help you learn ways of helping yourself. The period in between courses is gradually extended until you are doing well by yourself, or on an antidepressant of some kind. It's also possible to use Lyrica to manage anxiety in between courses of benzos.
