OK, not from birth, from 1 yrs. old. It was more of a figure of speech meaning "as far back as I can remember". There are pictures in my family photo album of me at my first birthday party. Surrounded by loving relatives cheering me on, I looked scared to death as I blew out the candles on the birthday cake. The only experiences I have of feeling normal in social situations are those after I started taking MAOIs. The benefit of Nardil vastly exceeds that of alcohol or other drugs people usually use for this purpose.
