Given your body weight and incompetent doctor, you'll probably be better off with Nardil, as you need roughly 1mg/kg to inhibit MAO 80%, which is what brings about the therapeutic response. This should be within the range of what your doctor will prescribe if you are 140lbs. Such low doses of Parnate are only like taking really small doses of speed; it's not antidepressant because it's not inhibiting enough MAOI. There is proof of this, too: Higher doses of tranylcypromine induce 5-ht2a receptor downregulation, a sign that the intra-synaptic concentration of serotonin has been increased. Lower doses don't do this.
However, clinical presentation is all that's really relevant, and you most certainly should not be limited to 30mg/day!
My experience has been that the anorgasmia associated with Nardil will wane over a long period of time (6-12 months). Now, I take 105-120mg/day, and even without the d-amphetamine my sex life is better than not on the drug beacuse I am not anxious, depressed, and agoraphobic. For about seven months, it took hours to have an orgasm. The important thing, though, is that it DID go away.
The best thing to counteract it is probably dopaminergic drugs + pde5 inhibitors (viagra).
