I KNOW for a fact that the two different types of Whey protein I have (expensive undenatured and bodybuilders (BB) whey) cause me anxiety. The undenatured stuff at lower dose will cause just as much anxiety for me as the BB whey.

If you believe yourself to be sensitive to elevated serotonin you might consider stopping it for a week and seeing how you feel. You might also check your container to see if it specifies the AL content.
There are lots of reasons to take whey protein as it has many immune boosting and other health benefits.
I'm still taking mine but cutting back to only the morning after my workouts the previous evening. I'm going to buy some egg or soy protein and try that instead.
