I am on the exact combo,well close.Parnate Nuerontin,partial depakot,klonopin.
Alone as the previous poster stated it cant replace a benzo, however in conjunction with a benzo it can not only lower its use,but aid it for some in a matter that a benzo alone can produce.
It seems to have a synergy for me with klonopin, dose ranges vary, this is the closest i can come to any form of being functional.
Im hoping as i have openly expressed to replace it with lyrcia if a doc is willing to let me,in hopes that it can possably allow me to lower parnate and unlike nuerontion provide more of a energitic mood elevating property,i need and want to be less reliant on parnate, and if altgother give it a vaction.
Of all the mood stablizers ive used, this and gabaitril are probuably the most tolerable, that can also be however because they are consiered by some to be the weakest.
Last with Nuerontion being generic now,you can get it with insurance fairly cheap.
