Multi-drug regime for a complex somatiform disorder.

It works better at the beginning than as you get acclimatized to it, in my view. I think it still provides an adjunctive to the benzodiazepines I take but it, at least for me, is not a benzodiazepine replacer.

It's fairly harmless as its bloodlevel is self-limiting. Beyond around 900mg at a time one just eliminates it out the body. Side effects commonly at the beginning would be somnolence and mild speech impairment and perhaps angling more in the diahrrea direction. At least thats what I recall. Nothing particularly aggravating.

For some it also has nerve pain reduction.
