"Biochemical imbalance" is a loaded term, almost
emotionally loaded, and hence a provocation to the
anti-psychiatry camp. What must exist is a change
between the chemical state of the brain under depression or mania or stupor or motor imbalance, etc. and the reversal of that due to drugs.Words are loaded weapons in psychiatry, but
facts are facts. Perhaps a different language
