Lexapro at 10 mgs. was weight neutral for me. Lex at 20 mgs. has not been. It’s been a gradual process with gaining 8-10 lbs. over a year. I think it has had metabolic changes for me but so has a change in activity with schedule changes, more sedentary lifestyle and the ability to desire again to do the cooking and baking I loved so much that went completely away when I was shrilling down the drain. So, it’s a number of factors for me.

It’s been a blessing in disguise as I joined a gym 3 weeks ago and began a better eating theory and I’ve lost 5 lbs. and my summer wardrobe is fitting better everyday.

At this point, decreasing my dose isn’t something I entertain, things are too good so, hopefully, the tried and true will continue to be successful.
