I wish I could somehow "erase" my GABA-A alpha transmitter respondence and have that feeling. One can't even describe the feeling of going from one hour on a midterm to a completely blissful sleep. I don't think all drugs should be euphoric all the time (well... :) But only 2 medications in my life have done so -- Ambien, once (does not have the same effect again), Percocet, once (probably would have the same effect again). I suppose you could add alcohol to the category although the euphoria is not the same and it has negative consequences afterwards. And there was a momentary "ahh" feeling when I switched an entire load of Seroquel from daytime to night for need of not sleeping on the highway while driving. When the full load finally went over, there was a "ahh" again.
