The first time, around 1997, 10mg, 15 minutes and the most blissfull almost psychedelic feeling that almost said to me (I'm dramatizing) "sleep, its good."

After that, that transmitter in my brain seemed to be forever "hit". So its hard to say since now I take 20mg along with the large dose of Seroquel I already take. I believe that the Ambien helps me go to sleep but it doesn't provide the power it once did, probably due to repeated exposure to benzodiazepines without a long grace interval.

Lunesta at 3mg was marginally stronger, I'm still trying to place why we switched back to Ambien other than it had a lovely NickelBright(tm) taste, which I didn't particularly mind -- it just said to me it was working.
