"No clinical evidence that higher doses are effective" just means that it has not been tested and that the company has decided that its profits are best at this dose, etc.

Some people on Psycho-Babble have gone as high as 60mg with Lexapro and up to 120mg of Celexa. I know that seems rather extreme. It seems that the dosages that are effective for OCD are higher than for depression. It also takes longer for one with OCD to respond to treatment.

Has your doctor described this to you?
