Hi,
I took Serzone for about 10 years and it was pretty effective for treating my anxiety especially and moderately effective for depression relief. At first the sedation, dizziness, drunk feeling , fuzzy head , weakness is very annoying to say the least but it does eventually go away.My doctor suggested to take the whole dose at bedtime and that seemed to help alot. The AD effect may or may not work better that way b/c you are supposed to split the dose.. but taking it that way and being able to tolerate it enough to stay on it is definitely better than having to discontinue it altogether in my opinion.
PS - the only that that always persisted was that over those years I always had to get a very full night of sleep .. like 8 1/2 to 9 hours to feel ok the next day ..
Good luck,
JIm
