Remeron Vs. Serzone...what difference??? Help!

Posted by jay on November 20, 2001, at 17:00:12

Just curious:

I have done well on Serzone in the past, and liked it because of a few things, but mostly because it caused little to no "aggitation", especially in my experience with Effexor. The Serzone had a couple of effects that made me have to stop. Each time I tried it, I developed some nasty immune system problems, and would end up with "thrush". (It happened 5 times, and these are the only times I have ever gotten thrush in my life. My doc agreed, after all the tests, that it may be just a combo of an immune/allergic reaction particular to some, and I was just lucky to be "some". :-)

My question to folks who have tried both Serzone and Remeron, how does the Remeron compare in terms of aggitation? I never felt suicidal on Serzone, and besides the immune problems, I was able to feel mentally in fairly good shape.

Any stories?

Thanks,
Jay
