I think the reason a lot of people post here is because they don't respond too well to normal antidepressants. For most people here, depression obviously is more than just taking a pill, since taking a pill rarely does the trick.That said, I honestly believe some people have a dysfunctional brain chemistry. And some people - the people who DO NOT POST HERE - just take a pill and their depression goes away. I personally know 2 close people whose lives are greatly improved, and noticably to me, by the use of antidepressants.
