Welcome, this is a good site to come to if you are having issues. About the medication, Ativan 1mg, or Xanax are fast acting antiaxiety medications. Klonopin is longer acting, and may fit your situation. Valium is long acting also. Xanax at a low dose .25mg or Ativan .5mg-1mg i suggest.
Xanax has some antidepressant properties, which may help. Antidepressants such as Prozac, Cymbalta, and Lexepro help level imbalances, it may help with this time. Your always welcome on here, where here to support.
