Grrr... Actually, we just raised it back to 60mg from 30mg, because the depression came back on the lower dose. Now, while I'm not terribly depressed -- mostly not depressed at all, except for the usual situational stuff that just isn't getting resolved -- I'm also not productive. And that's leading to a sort of vicious circle.

On the other hand, your mind was obviously working in the same directions mine had been, since I requested the lowered dose of Cymbalta to see if it would help or even fix the fatigue and amotivation... Good to know that, since great minds think alike, my mind might be almost great as proven by working similarly to yours. :-D

And PC is on to something, too, since I hardly get to leave the house, thanks to the car situation. That's driving me crazy-er. I hope that, once that is fixed and a couple of other things happen, a lot of this will at least change, if not resolve...

Oh, but back to PC's suggestion: in this neighborhood, there's no place to walk that doesn't allow me to find out all too much about either the homeless in the park in one direction, the EDD or Veterans Affairs in another, or the Mexican consulate in the final direction. Unless I walk back and forth up the sidewalk behind our building. And if I could drive, I could make it to the gym. It's about a two and a half mile walk, which I could do, but haven't because there's a huge highway overpass I'd have to cross, and my mild agoraphobia is not quite mild enough for that, especially since I'm also afraid that I'd be done at the gym, and too tired to walk home in the heat.

SUX! Will someone please babblemail me a mechanic to fix my husband's car???

(And yes -- we're approaching the question of why he seems to be restricting my movements by keeping me car-free except for the weekly visits to the therapist or going to the store for him...)
