Racer, are you able to get to exercise on a regular basis? I find that when I'm good about it (going to the gym 3 x week) that my overall energy is much more consistent. Are you able to get outside (the balconey does not count) for a 10 minute walk every day? Doing errands doesn't count - this would be a Walk For Racer, where you get to look around you and appreciate the sights and sounds in your neighbourhood. Just a little thing like that can help regulate your body with the day/night thing.
Also, do you drink caffeinated beverages? Those make me pretty wonky with my energy. I keep regular coffee away from me except as an emergency Gotta Stay Awake bolus.
