However, then you get into the actual receptors themselves, which SSRI's also effect. I believe this is what you're getting at? Prozac has action at the 5-HT3C receptor I think, and the SSRI's do effect the other various receptors, but as I recall, none of them effect the 1a receptor. Sometimes SSRI's are augmented with Buspar because it is a 1a agonist.
