ick, you had a mixed state, I've had those too. I've also had SSRIs give me euphoric manias. I still use them because they kick my OCD's a*s. I say, stick with that Lexapro and give it time to work. Take care of yourself and get enough sleep, eat well too. Give at at least 4-6 weeks to see full benefit of the Lexapro. Also, if you're getting those mixed agitated states, consider adding a bit of mood stabilizer in just to counter it. Trileptal is quite a good one (at least in my biased opinion). Good luck!
