Effexor vs. Cymbalta

Has anyone tried both of these medications? I am on 225mg of Effexor XR daily and it seems to not work as well for my anxiety/GAD. I was wondering if anyone has tried Cymbalta and had success with it controlling their anxiety/GAD or social anxiety. Thanks.
